Amazon will be carrying out a virtual three day event called Amazon Accelerate to help SMBs learn how to thrive on Amazon.

Amazon recognises the challenges that 2020 has brought for small businesses and how they have risen to the challenge and seen record sales growth on Amazon. In a recent twelve-month period, U.S. SMBs sold more than 3.4 billion products on the marketplace.

To continue their commitment to supporting small businesses, Amazon are inviting SMBs to what they claim will be their largest-ever U.S. event dedicated to seller success which will take place September 1-3, 2020. The event is entirely virtual and free to attend and will help sellers connect with peers, and learn proven techniques and best practices to apply as they grow their businesses in the digital economy. Amazon state that the event is for both existing Amazon sellers looking to continue to grow their success and small businesses considering going digital and selling online for the first time.

The three days will contain 60 engaging sessions and attendees will be able to choose from a number of sessions depending on their interests and level on Amazon such as “Growing to a $1 Million Business,” for new sellers and “Responding to Changes in Consumer Demand” for more experienced sellers. There will also be breakout sessions, panels, lightning talks, and live Q&A with Amazon experts.

“We are deeply invested in empowering small businesses, and now more than ever, it is critically important for us to bring our seller community together as we all navigate new economic realities, Amazon is privileged to partner with a large, vibrant community of small business sellers. Amazon Accelerate will help these entrepreneurial organizations find new ways to serve customers, grow, and expand.”
– Jeff Wilke, CEO worldwide consumer, Amazon
